There was a time a few decades ago when people would flock to their neighborhood general store with an empty can to buy Mara Chekku edible oil. It was a pretty common sight back then. But things took a swift turn with the advent of industrially processed refined oil. Within a short time, the market was swept over by the smartly packaged refined oils that promised to bring health and taste to your dining table. The traditional market for the cold pressed oil looked like it had lost its sheen. But now it seems the wheel has started to turn the other way round. Cold pressed oil is making a comeback and is gaining steady popularity with the masses and the classes alike. Hence AEIPL has also planned to jump into this pool, of producing its own marra cheku oil in the near future at their own oil mill premises due to their prominence in the field of agro products.
